The new extension to the esserbus transponder family serves to connect special detectors, such as linear heat and smoke detectors, smoke aspiration systems or flame detectors, to the FlexES fire alarm control panel. The special feature of the esserbus transponder for special detectors is the option to evaluate a pre-alarm in addition to the alarm messages of the connected special detector. Furthermore, a message suppression time for the detector zone can be programmed for special detectors with very long switch-on times after a reset. This prevents false alarms from being triggered during the activation time of the special detector. As with all esserbus transponders, application-specific configuration of the esserbus transponder for special detectors is supported by the tools 8000 programming software to ensure fast and trouble-free commissioning of the FACP. The new esserbus transponder for special detectors requires at least tools 8000 version 1.25 and FlexES Control version 4.07 (FlexES Firmware Container V1.06). Both are available at our website.
